Dear Team Nikos Families,
It is with great pleasure that we announce our 3rd Annual Team Nikos Awards Banquet to be held on Wednesday, July 29th, 6:00 pm, at the Coto De Caza Country Club. THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. We are sincerely looking forward to celebrating with all of our Team Nikos families in attendance at this fun event, marking the end our fantastic 2014-2015 season. This is a very special night where we get to recognize players, coaches, and managers for their excellent performance on and off the court! If you have not purchased tickets and would like to attend, please see details below on how to be added to our wait list.
Awards that will be given out for each team are:
Academic Achievement/GPA**
Most Improved Player of the Year
Most Inspirational Player of the Year
Defensive Player of the Year
Most Valuable Player of the Year and/or Offensive Player of the Year
Program Player of the Year (Recipient will receive a full ride scholarship for the 2015-16 season)
**The criteria for a player to qualify for the GPA award is as follows:
- High School and Middle School: 4.0 GPA (or higher) maintained for the entire 2014-2015 school year
- Elementary Schools and Middle Schools with a letter grading system: All A’s maintained throughout the entire 2014-2015 school year
- Elementary Schools with a number or other grading system:
- 3’s or 4’s maintained for the entire 2014-2015 school year
- S’s or O’s maintained for the entire 2014-2015 school year
If your player qualifies for the GPA Award, please scan and email their report cards from every grading period of the 2014-2015 school year to Carol Miller at [email protected].
The entire years’ worth of grades must to be submitted to receive the award.
